Anyway, with a great demand from blog readers,i will now update MMUIEM blog.
Let me blog about those activities which had been carried out during our 1st semester 2006.

On the 14th of July 2006, MMUIEM had their installation of the new board 06/07. Our invited guests were our advisor, Dr. Wong Eng Kiong; our Outgoing President of MMUIEM 05/06,Sdri. The official event started off with welcoming speech by our MC, Sdri. Fong Yin Ching.

Then we had speech by our MMUIEM advisor, Dr. Wong Eng Kiong

and speech by our outgoing president 05/06, Sdri.Ernida

And not forgetting speech by our President of 06/07, Sdr. Mursyid Ismail.

With a light refresdment, the meeting was dismissed

And this is the new board which was newly formed.

This is our structure of our new board:

With the form of the new board, we had our meeting to discuss about the masterplan layout for 2006/2007. We discussed about activities to be held for the whole year through. Since MMUIEM is a student chapter under Engineering Society, ENGSOC [in campus], we had a few activities collaborate with them. Apart from collaboration with ENGSOC, we also collaborate with Institution of Engineers Malaysia,IEM in our outside campus activities.

Our first event held was on the 1st of August 2006 which was an ice breaking session. The ice breaking was held in BBQ style. It was a success as the members enjoyed the BBQ.

We had picture taking session among the MMUIEM hi coms together with the Deputy President of ENGSOC,sdr. Tan Hsia Tiong and Vice President of ENGSOC, sdr. Lee Yoon Ho. Both were the invited guests for that night together with the President of ENGSOC, sdr. Lim Keng Hui.

After the ice breaking, we had our one week midterm break starting from 5th of August till the 13th August. But few days before that, MMUIEM excos together with ENGSOC excos came back few days earlier to attend a dinner held at Grand Blue Wave hotel on 12th August 2006. There were roughly about 20 plus of us attending the dinner at Shah Alam.

Here are the pictures which were taken throughout that night:
